As a Project Accountant , you will be responsible for reporting, reconciliations, invoices, vendor management and compliance. The individual in this position will be expected to demonstrate high attention to detail, consistent follow up, and be comfortable working in an autonomous environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Job cost reporting and reconciliations Coding, processing and paying job invoices Assist with review and preparation of monthly draw requisitions Reviewing and resolving issues with vendors and subcontractors * Managing compliance for certified payroll, First Source Reporting and tracking CBE reporting requirements * Assist Controller with additional projects REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or a related field Minimum of five (5) years of experience with job cost accounting, including the processing of accounts payable. Strong understanding of general ledger and account reconciliations. Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook and Excel. Previous experience with either Procore, Textura and Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) is a must have Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under limited supervision while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and production. Strong communication skills necessary for effective interaction with all levels of management and staff, as well as subcontractors and vendors.
