We are looking for someone to partner with our HR Business Partner team to assist with recruiting top talent! We are anticipating this position to be temporary for the next 6 months, but as the business climate continues to evolve, we will assess the longevity of the position. The position will be primarily remote, subject to Shentel's flexible and distributed workforce guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the organization by being an expert in the area of recruiting and talent acquisition within the human resources discipline, emulating Shentel's positive people philosophy, performing a variety of recruiting and hiring functions in an effort to increase the quality of candidate flow and decrease time to fill open requisitions with the best candidates a market and position is able to offer. The Recruiter will be responsible for developing strong partnerships with sources of talent in each of the markets that we operate and hire employees, along with members of the HR team, employees and leaders across the enterprise to ensure human resources activities are executed in a way that are aligned with business goals, working to enhance the candidate and employee experience, helping to maximize individual and team productivity, while minimizing associated risks to the organization. Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: The Recruiter will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of programs and strategies tailored to meet Shentel's human capital needs in the area of Talent Acquisition. Provide full cycle recruitment consultation, expertise and guidance to HR Business Partner and management teams within the internal client groups to include, but not limited to: Assist the HRBP team with the creation and management with the hiring process for various requisitions within the enterprise, including temporary staffing to technical placement; Establish a network of recruiting sources to help create a talent pool of quality candidates of various disciplines; Lead recruiting initiatives/processes, leveraging a variety of sources such as networking, social media, print media, multi-media, community outreach, college relations and employee referrals; Become an expert in the area of social media recruitment; Review qualifications of internal and external candidates to recommend for further consideration of the hiring manager; Participate in interview and selection process as deemed appropriate or necessary; Partner with HRBP team and management to advise on compensation for new hires, transfers, promotions or demotions within Shentel guidelines and considering competitive market conditions; Assist the HRBP in the candidate offer process, as needed; Assist the HRBP team with processing pre-employment background and drug screening, as needed; Maintains recruitment, interview and employment data to help guide talent acquisition efforts; Stay current on industry trends and best practices with regard to staffing, talent acquisition and candidate engagement. Ensure consistent, fair and legal recruiting practices by consulting with those that have interviewing responsibilities to ensure an understanding of appropriate and professional interviewing and selection practices. Monitor and analyze turnover to develop, recommend and implement programs to improve the employee and candidate experience; Assists with projects as assigned. Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor's in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered, in lieu of degree; Experience Level: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a recruiting and talent acquisition capacity; Special Requirements: Ability to verbally communicate with others in order to coach employees and managers. Bi-lingual preferred Ability to interface with all levels of the organization Ability to evaluate data from interviews in order to make appropriate employment decisions. Ability to balance multiple and changing priorities.
