Job Summary: 
Westat is seeking an energetic professional test leader to join a team responsible for applying rigorous testing standards to Westat's software applications, integration systems, websites, and databases. 
Job Responsibilities:
•    Lead small groups of testers with their day-to-day assignments including mentoring and training, monitoring status, scheduling and meeting test deadlines, and presenting test results to larger groups of project staff. 
•    Work closely with developers, testers, and non-technical project staff to test through all stages of development including functional, integration, and regression testing.
•    Learn every aspect of assigned project(s), maintain test tracking documentation, produce test summaries and report status to project teams, evaluate test results to meet deadlines and calculate resources, and report and manage defects.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience with testing and/or survey design and management is required.
•    Working knowledge of manual and automated testing and creating queries to validate test results is required, along with some formal testing training.
•    Experience supervising and reporting on software or survey test execution is required.
•    U.S. Citizenship is required by contract. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Hands-on experience with the following: Cypress, Test Studio, and other automated test tools; configuring a defect tracker such as JIRA or GitLab. 

You must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, be detail oriented, and possess excellent organization and verbal communication skills.
