Job Responsibilities: The HVAC Service Technician provides maintenance and repairs on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. Uses a variety of hand tools, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose, and repair HVAC Uses power tools, smart phones and tablets Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses and repairs instruments and products at a customer's location. Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, repairs, and modifications as needed or requested by customers. Maintains tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear Documents work by completing invoicing on each job and maintaining files. Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact. Job Requirements : Pass background and drug screen Valid driver's license and insurable driving record High school diploma or its equivalent Maryland Journeyman License 3 + years of HVAC Service experience Universal EPA Certification Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques. Experience making repair and replace decisions Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years of employment Advanced customer service skills NATE certifications, or acquire within one year of employment Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles. Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
