Duties and Responsibilities Plan and manage recruitment activities with their specified regions. Provide team leadership in meeting recruitment goals and objectives constantly driving to meeting the University FTE goals. Create and implement a strategic recruitment plan for their region(s) to attract the desired demographic in their target areas. Develop a written recruitment process that will outline their plan to reach their target goals. Develop a results-oriented plan which will include empowering staff to use recruitment models as a guide in making independent decisions on recruitment activities, programs and services offered. to prospective students and other constituent groups. Collect, track, and analyze enrollment data for monthly and yearly recruitment assessments. Organize, execute and present information sessions. Manage/coordinate recruiting territories. Evaluate recruiting activities and territories, updating recruiting plan, as needed. Actively recruit in high schools and colleges and at regional and national fairs during days/evenings/weekends. Conduct presentations in high school classes. Develop and nurture relationships with guidance counselors in assigned territory. Calculate recruiting expenses. Assist in registration, returning student scheduling and first day of school activities. Prepare follow-up reports for Admissions events. Contribute/develop new ideas for Admissions events/office functions. Query/analyze applicant inquiry and recruiting statistics. Participate in all college-wide programs. Perform virtual. as required, and face to face visits, college fairs and other related recruitment assignments. Travel both in and out of state and work irregular hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree required. Experience A minimum of one (1) year of experience in recruiting in a college/university or similar environment. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Work patiently and supportively with prospective students, applicants and their families. Excellent interpersonal and phone skills. Great organizational skills. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Microsoft Word and Excel required. Conditions of Employment Will require periods of intensive travel, including weekends and evenings.
