We have been globally recognized as one of the most innovative, sustainable, and rewarding companies in the world.Job Description:The Global Tools & Storage (GTS) division of SBD, which generates 70% of SBDs $14.5B in revenue, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Operations Finance team. This role is responsible for providing financial, analytical, and decision support for North America Regional Operations. This business partnership role offers significant exposure across the North America Operations Finance organization and to the senior leadership team. The candidate must have the ability to educate and support; this role is not a data supply role, but a true working partnership role to drive business decisions.Specific Responsibilities Include:* Lead the Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts, and Annual Strategic Plan for the OCOS (Other Cost Of Sales) portion of the North America region* Support the organization in cost reduction initiatives* Implement various process improvement projects to increase forecast accuracy and standardize reporting* Partner with the Operations team to build department level budgets and forecasts* Manage and complete reporting requirements in a timely manner including variance analysis to Budget, Forecast and Prior Year, Operational KPIs, and supplemental data reporting* Support ad-hoc requests and other financial analysis required to support the business* Leverage Power BI, Alteryx, and other similar tools to automation/streamline processesEssential Skills and Experiences* Strong operations finance experience in a dynamic, large company environment (manufacturing environment with multiple locations and distribution centers)* Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills* Ability to work in a matrix environment and build relationships with a variety of functions* Effective communication & presentation skills, experience presenting to senior leadership* Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives, including problem identification & resolution* Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic and fast paced setting* High level of energy and professionalism and strong attention to detail* Act with the highest level of integrity and can clearly demonstrate and align to SBDs core valuesPreferred Specifications:* Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred* 3+ plus years of prior related experience* Working knowledge of ERP and Financial reporting systems such as JD Edwards, Hyperion, Essbase* Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint* Prior experience with reporting from a large ERP systemRequisition Number 83718BRFunction Finance and Accounting City TowsonFLSA (For US Only) Exempt Region USA EEO Statement All qualified applicants to Stanley Black & Decker are considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veterans status or any other protected characteristic.Featured Category on SBD Careers Finance & AccountingShow Virtual Roles Virtual
