Senior Network Engineer
Overview: Evolver is seeking Senior Network Engineer specializing in Cisco hardware to join our team supporting government customer in Washington DC. In this role you will be helping to implement cutting edge datacenter and wireless network infrastructure.This is a customer service focused environment mandating high reliability and 24 x 7 up time. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day support activities to maintain enterprise campus and data center network infrastructure based on Cisco Nexus platformMonitor, maintain and administer the health of the enterprise-wide network infrastructureMonitor, manage, and troubleshoot network devices (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)Recommend updates and changes for the existing core network switch configurationsDevelop and maintain accurate network documentation and network diagramsReview existing WAN and LAN designsInstall and configure Cisco wireless controllers Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: Qualifications:8 years of Information Technology experience with Master Degree or equivalent.CCNP or HigherExperience in configuring, implementing and managing complex large LAN/WAN networksExcellent active listening and verbal communication skills;Strong business writing ability;Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines; Technical Requirements (required and desired): Technical Requirements:Hands on experience with Cisco Nexus Family Switches (9kK/7K/5K/2K/1K), Cisco 3560s, 2950s, 4500s, ASR 1001x, firewalls, VPN and web management devices.Working knowledge of Cisco VPN, Firewall (ASA), and ISE devicesFamiliarity with VXLAN/EVPN, EIGRP,OSPF, iBGP, eBGP protocolsHands on experience with Cisco Wireless controllers and Access Points Training and Certifications (required and desired): Have at least 2 of the following certifications:Cisco Certified Design Professional CCDPCisco Certified Network Professional Routing and switching CCNP RCisco Certified Network Professional Wireless CCNP WCisco Certified Network Associate, CCNA wirelessCisco Certified Network Associate, CCNA RCisco Secure Mobility Solutions (SIMOS) (300-209) EOE Statement: At CSS, we foster teamwork, growth, individuality and entrepreneurialism.
