We focus on ensuring the security of customer mission operations, and we strive for excellence through continuous improvement and flawless execution.Peraton has a compelling opportunity to transition, sustain, and modernize mission critical networks for a unique customer in the Washington Metro Area (WMA).Peraton responsibilities include review of the current system architecture, sustainment of current operations, design of a new cloud-based architecture, development and deployment of new capabilities, and continual system refresh and enhancement.Required QualificationsMaintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.Bachelors Degree with 5+ Years experience, Masters Degree with 3+ Years experience , PhD Degree with 0+ Years of experience.Active Top Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain a higher level clearance if needed.Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
