Conduct IA reviews/inspections to ensure adherence to documentation and regulations, and support activities of external auditors, including defining/implementing/documenting plans of action to address noted deficiencies. Perform continuing analysis of in-place 1A plans/programs/processes to ensure they provide an optimized level of security for the program's IT systems/operations. Develop a Plan of Actions and Milestones for all systems under RMF/JSlG. On a continuing basis, inform the program manager/deputy program manager and the IT/IM lead with milestone activity updates, including but not limited to schedule impacts, system vulnerabilities, patch management actions and Designated Authorizing Official directives. Notification shall include sufficient lead time to effect system changes to maintain the system Authority to Operate. On a continuing basis work collaboratively with the Program Security Officer to comply with program security policies, processes and procedures. Perform ISSO duties as assigned in the lSSO appointment letter and as further defined, in the RMF/JSIG duties and responsibilities assigned to the position. The contractor shall communicate work plans. Required Education, Experience, & Skills: A High School diploma or GED. Certifications shall be provided by the individual prior to entry into the position, or no later than six months after entry, in accordance with DoD 8570.01 M. Candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in Information Systems Security within the DoD. Desired Experience and Skills: Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and information technology security software/network protection tools.
