Responsibilities Senior Financial & Business Management Consultant will function at aS enior Consultant staff level to support project teams both at client sites and internally. As a Senior Financial & Business Management Consultant you will own client project workstreams on client engagements from cultivation to completion . As a Senior Financial & Business Management Consultant , a key function of your role will be to provide guidance and oversight to junior staff create and present quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. Senior Financial & Business Management Consultant will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks. Responsibilities may include: Provide guidance and quality oversight to junior staff. Provide ongoing financial management support to Federal transportation client in accordance with Federal financial management requirements. Track and forecast funds status, run reports, and reconcile financial transaction data in support of daily operations. Lead quantitative development of business case documentation (eg, needs analysis, cost/benefit analysis). Prepare, review, and reconcile various financial business documents (eg, invoices, travel vouchers). Support budget formulation and execution activities for large programs. Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities. Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for clients. Facilitate client meetings to gather data and understand client needs and desired outcomes. Prepare training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer to client stakeholders. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, or Organization & Management. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). 4+ years of financial management working experience. Business level proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Meet qualifications and successfully be granted a Public Trust. Currently reside or able to relocate to the Washington, DC area .
