What part will you play? Diversified is seeking an innovative and experienced Broadcast Television Network service engineer with core expertise in media-centric applications. What you will be doing? Maintain and support datacenter-like and enterprise-class engineered networks to support real-time SMPTE 2110 live uncompressed and compressed media workflows for IP-based transport. Support role will be able to exhibit understanding of the technical components utilized in operational functions such as ingest, preparation, playout, storage, streaming, and OTT creation or delivery. What do we require from you? Candidates must be eager to learn new technologies and demonstrate the ability to react to rapidly changing conditions while maintaining their professionalism. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential. CCNP or Arista certification is highly recommended, or the equivalent of 5+ years of working in a broadcast television environment and 3+ years of networking engineering preferably at an enterprise class system level. Knowledge of applicable test equipment; Waveform/Vectorscope, Oscilloscope, MATV QAM meter, Video/Audio Monitors, etc. Proficient at Broadcast IP based system level troubleshooting and testing. Working knowledge of networking equipment including the configuration and testing of routers, production switchers, and network interfaces including SMPTE 2110 IP encapsulated video standards. Working knowledge digital video equipment including encoders, multiplexers, modulators, and receivers. Knowledge of TV production workflow, TV control room operations, camera systems and robotics, multi-viewers, intercom, digital audio mixers, IFB Remote feeds, LED monitor walls and processing, Avid editing and graphics workflow.
