1. Utilizes available office automation tools and systems to plan, manage and conduct core Cover Program support activities (mechanism and sponsorship acquisition, Cover Plan development, review, and coordination, Cover Threat evaluation, Cover program and Cover requirement management).
2. Identifies opportunities for improved service, resource efficiencies, and innovations in support that are in line with all applicable laws, regulations,
directives and instruction using the fundamentals of the Defense Cover Program.
3. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to compose and deliver responses to complex questions in a clear, concise, and organized manner
4. Facilitates the development of more integrated solutions by engaging and actively working with others who have unique but relevant expertise
5. Makes insightful, well-reasoned, and timely decisions by assessing the relevance and impact to the organization


1. Graduate of Advanced Technicians, Due Diligence, and Advanced Planners Courses.
2. Experience in establishing cross-directorate collaboration in support of DIA's strategic mission.

Additional information

DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency's conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement.
