The Acumen Solutions Change Management & Adoption team is a group of committed consultants who partner with our clients to create and execute change strategies, enabling them to realize business outcomes. We keep the end-user at the forefront of decision-making, creating strategies that bring users along their change journey as part of their organization's business transformation. We are hiring a Change Management Consultant to join our team. The Change Management Consultant has a unique blend of many talents and provides support to our clients as they implement new flexible technologies. This person's role is to assist our clients as they manage organizational change, and promote change management and end user adoption. Our consultants consist of team players who excel at collaboration and are motivated by working in a cross-functional environment. Depending on project scope, the Change Management Consultant may coordinate and execute end-to-end change management on projects or lead specific change management workstreams on projects. This person oversees and has accountability for all aspects of change management and adoption on a project. This person sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors progress, raises risks where appropriate, and communicates progress of change management activities on a project to the project team and client team. Additionally, the individual relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Change Management Consultant is often in a position to take a leadership role as they help to build the skills of more junior team members. While the main focus of this role is with client-facing engagements and leading change enablement activities throughout a project's lifecycle, this role entails contribution and collaboration within the Change Management & Adoption team to help the practice to continue to evolve. Responsibilities Develop and execute holistic change strategies for complex transformation initiatives Build and facilitate stakeholder relationships to partner in the development and execution of change strategies Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment, engagement and buy-in Conduct change readiness and impact assessments, sponsor assessments, and stakeholder interviews to identify adoption barriers, needs, and gaps that inform change strategies Define appropriate and dynamic communication strategies and manage the execution of communication plans including the creation of communication collateral Define relevant engagement strategies and manage the execution of engagement plans including the creation of engagement collateral Define appropriate training strategies and manage the execution of training plans Develop end-user training documentation (training presentations, user guides, tip sheets) Lead training sessions for a variety of audiences including Train the Trainer and End User Training via a virtual meeting platform and in person as needed Coordinate e-learning initiatives included in projects where needed Support and engage client senior leaders, coach managers and supervisors on change management best practices and articulate the value of change strategies Build capacity with clients to sustain change management practices within their organization Identify risks, and develop and communicate mitigation strategies to project team and client team Build trusted relationships with our clients and colleagues Collaborate with project management team to ensure change strategies are integrated with delivery Oversee and have accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work Effectively facilitate meetings, demonstrating brainstorming/consensus-building skills, and interacting with the client's executive level project sponsors Exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on the project with minimal direction from an Acumen Solutions Engagement Director or Engagement Delivery ManagerRequired Experience & Skills: 6+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of general change management principles, methodologies and tools Experience leading relevant workstreams as outlined in the Responsibilities section Ability to clearly articulate the value of change management to stakeholders at all levels Experience with enterprise transformation initiatives Excellent meeting and classroom facilitation skills Outstanding oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently, set and manage to deadlines, monitor progress, and follow up on tasks to ensure progress Basic knowledge of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems such as CRM and ERP Ability to learn quickly and think creatively Innovative problem-solver with proven ability in moving from ideation to implementation Team player with interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary Passion for life-long learning with ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies Comfortable with ambiguity and experience with navigating changing situations Proven track record of building client relationships Experience working across a variety of industries Ability to work for any US employer Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time Bachelor's degree required or relevant professional qualification(s) Certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner credential a plus Certified Salesforce Administrator credential a plusCareer Path The Change Management Consultant career path is a Change Manager or Senior Change Manager role.
