The Business Manager role serves as the financial manager for construction projects and is a primary liaison between operations, corporate finance, and certain external parties. This highly visible and fast-paced position is charged with financial reporting, compliance, and processing responsibilities over projects ranging in size from $20 million to $1 billion in contract value. This position will report directly to the Regional Business Manager with input locally from other construction executives as needed. Business Managers are provided with classroom and hands-on training and are expected to learn quickly, applying tasking across several project finance related areas. Job Responsibilities: Project Finance Monthly project financial forecast Project budget maintenance Key performance indicator monitoring Variable consideration reconciliations Project cash-flow monitoring and forecasting Process innovation and improvement Project Accounting Compiling owner requisition Joint venture financial package compilation Subcontractor requisition processing Accounts payable processing Consumable materials purchasing Management of field payroll Equipment inventory monitoring Assist with project setup and closeout Project Compliance Davis-Bacon Act reporting and monitoring Regulatory administration (FAR, CAS, etc ) Small and minority business monitoring Lien waiver logging Owner contract review and readiness Timekeeping compliance monitoring Owner audit management and compliance Internal audit finding resolution Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another business-related field Highly motivated individual with strong organizational and time management skills Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Careful attention to detail and reliability of output Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with SAP, LCP Tracker, or Google platforms a plus #LI-AT2 #GD Equal Opportunity Employer: Clark Construction Group, LLC, (subsidiaries and affiliates) is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
