Electrical EngineerJob Category: EngineeringTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCIEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required:Type of Travel:CACI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the US Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate's (I2WD) R efforts by evaluating, testing, and providing expertise for the next Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) system. Ideal candidate will play key role in advancing the Army's legacy and future EOD ECM capabilities at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.What You'll Get to Do:Evaluate, test, and recommend the next Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) systemConduct anechoic chamber and coaxial testing and evaluation (T) of current and future ECM systemsDevelop, author, and review test plans for compatibility, effectiveness, and characterization of ECMServe as subject matter expert in RF characterization of effectiveness of EOD ECM against threat devices.Publish reports and briefings in order to present test data, operational effectiveness, recommendations, and train/educate Army Electronic Warfare Officers (EWO) and EOD personnelProvide recommendations in developing requirements for ECM "system-after-next"Attend field testing/field exercises for EOD and EWO personnel with informational briefings, field test demonstrations, and general onsite technical support for ECMSupport yearly Ravens Challenge interoperability exercise as EOD ECM subject matter expert by giving educational briefings and functioning as ECM SME during lanes trainingReview technical information, intelligence reports, industry advancements, and tactics, techniques, and procedures related to EOD operations, current and future threats, and RF/ECM systems in order to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide mitigation recommendations and strategiesYou'll Bring These Qualifications:Active TS/SCIBA/BS EE and 8 years experienceExperience in ECM testing and evaluationAn understanding of fundamental RF engineeringExperience using benchtop RF equipment including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and other equipmentPerform standard RF measurements using the previous listed test equipmentExperience analyzing RF systems, receivers, and transmittersThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Ability to develop load sets for US ECM systems based off current threatsExperience regression testing ECM load sets to ensure continued effectivenessAbility to efficiently manage ECM system resources for optimal performanceExperience in reverse engineering electronic devicesExperience in reverse engineering electronic components and circuit boardsUnderstanding of mathematics/physics/engineering principles related to RF topics such as modulation, signal generation, signal reception, encryption, antennas, etc.Experience working with automation software for RF testingWorking knowledge of software defined radios (SDR) in order to transmit or receive RF signalsBasic Mat lab (and other basic programming/scripting) skillsExperience giving oral and written presentations and briefings to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to understand RF systems and circuit level diagrams for ECM systems and threat transmitters and receiversWhat We Can Offer You:- We've been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.- Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.- We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.- We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation's highest priorities.- For over 55 years, the principles of CACI's unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.Company Overview: At CACI, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
