JOB SUMMARY The SEO & Web Marketing Coordinator will participate in the planning and execution of digital content activities that support company initiatives and campaigns, with a focus on search engine optimization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Digital Production:* Conduct day-to-day web publishing activities.* Execute digital aspects of content campaigns, including web and email.* Participate in executing AB and multivariate testing activities.* Participate in executing personalization activities.* Understand SEO, its application to content creation and webpage production and ensure webpages are optimized for SEO.* Working knowledge of HTML and Javascript.Project Support:With support from Senior Coordinator or Manager:* Act as a junior project coordinator for special projects (defining timelines, communicating deadlines and escalating issues.* Be responsible for a specific area of the corporate website, understanding the strategy and content so that you can act as a consultant on new and existing project requests.Other responsibilities: Understand application support requests (related to functionality requests, performance issues and bugs), escalating to internal partners as necessary. Provide training and support for new and existing programs as needed. Participate in the development and acceptance testing of digital programsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks. QUALIFICATIONS 3 years+ experience in marketing team with responsibility for digital marketing and SEOStrong knowledge of website tools (CMS, Analytics, SEO, etc)Demonstrated experience in SEO optimizationClient focused with demonstrated ability to provide quality service and advice within content marketing arenaProven ability to navigate a complex, large regional business Excellent project management and communication skillsSound decision-making capabilities, demonstrating an ability to create persuasive and compelling recommendationsHighly organized, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesA passion to stay current with issues and trends in digital marketing, with an emphasis on emerging technologiesCERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES None COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.REASONING ABILITY Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Basis skills with various software programs including InDesign, PageMaker, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Freehand, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong writing skills; ability to work from concept through execution of marketing and communication projects.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
