Job Title: 675 - Supervisor Field SafetyLSG Sky Chefs, a part of LSG Group is the world's leading provider of end-to-end on-board products and services.Role Purpose StatementThe incumbent is responsible for supervising all aspects of the ramp and employee safety and security programs and protocol at the responsible Customer Service Center (CSC) Main objective is CSC Security, and the reduction of aircraft accidents and injuries to employees.Main AccountabilitiesSupervise and ensure compliance with Company security and ramp and employee safety initiatives.Partners with CSC Leadership regarding employee safety issues involving but not limited to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT); and applicable state agencies.Ensure CSC is compliant with all regional and corporate security protocolsCoordinate ramp/employee safety initiatives and appropriate measurement systems as set by company and customer.Regularly trains employees on all Employee Safety and Ramp Safety SOPsSupervise daily area / department activities in the CSCConduct monthly Safety meetingsCoordinate and ensure that all Accidents are investigated and corrective/preventive action is implemented and sustainedPartners with CSC Leadership to ensure Audit ReadinessLeadershipEnsure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directedGuide, motivate and develop the subordinate employees within the Human Resources PolicyParticipates in coaching the expanded Global Performance System (GPS) process, as well as additional career development activities to enhance the effectiveness and potential of the teamMake the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as GQS, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and CBaseKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Safety Engineering or in related field preferredIn addition, one to three years of directly related experience in operations, security and safety requiredProven analytical and leadership skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve budgetUnderstanding and applicability of governmental regulations such as OSHA, FDA, USDA and EPA regulations, as well as applicable state agencies.Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required combines with an aptitude for multi-taskingGood knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applicationJob Type: Full-timePay: $58,482.00 - $67,943.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Weekend availabilityExperience:Plant Safety: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
