If you want the chance to lead, it's time to bring your talent to General Dynamics Mission Systems.We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.The experienced Hardware Development Engineer will be responsible and accountable for the electrical technical planning, scheduling, cost analysis, risk analysis and successful execution of small to medium programs or the major electrical subsystems of a larger program containing substantial electrical content. You'll have substantial influence as a team lead and contributor on the electrical requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis (eg timing, power, etc.), interface analysis and definition for the design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems.This key role is in support of the Disruptive Radio Team ("DiRT"); part of RF Systems Line of Business under GDMS Ground Systems (GS) in support of various tactical radio products which includes Research and Development (R&D), proof of concept/protype like programs ("rapid fielding" phase) and full-scale production programs.Be part of our new strategic radio business where we intend to mainstream our DiRT concepts into new products/programs (eg, recently selected for both US Army's Mounted Mission Command - Transport Line-Of-Sight (LOS) and Transceiver-Encryptor Programs).In line with our strategic radio business, we are also looking for ways to improve & strengthen our customer intimacy. We are in the process of establishing a presence at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland where majority of our customer community resides.
