Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced and employee-oriented HR Manager to join an established client in Columbia, MD. In this role, you will be working directly with the executive team to support HR initiatives and strategy, and oversee the HR department. This is a direct hire opportunity that provides excellent career stability within a collaborative company culture, and people-first company mission.Responsibilities:Managing the day-to-day operations of the HR departmentManagement of employee onboarding to include hiring, orientation, and benefits administrationForecasting hiring needs and managing recruitment effortsWorking directly with department managers to understand hiring and training needsAssisting in employee relations and managing evaluation tracking systems for employee filesWorking directly with the payroll team to maintain employee recordsResponsible for all benefits administration, monthly eligibility, recordkeeping and annual benefit plan selection and enrollmentManage all workers compensation claimsManagement of employee benefit and 401K plans and assisting employees with plan questionsJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree ideal but not requiredApproximately 5+ years within Human Resources, and some experience within a leadership role or managing HR department support rolesA people first mentality!
