Role Description:The Integration Developer will support the self-service reporting capability through development of a pilot, and support of the user community in their ability to conduct ad hoc analytics projects. The Integration developer will drive the development effort of the self-service capability and collaborate with the data steward to identify user reporting needs, identify the data sources/systems, and integrate them into the analytics platform. The integration developer will define data connections and package data extracts to load into analytics products. The Integration Developer will also be responsible for collecting, collating, and triaging issues and problems with data. The Integration Developer must communicate issues and other relevant information (eg, root causes) to those staff members that are able to influence remediation.Key Responsibilities:Assess existing technology stack and systems for integrationBuild new system integrations to support self-service reporting functionalityBuild interfaces for new and existing data integrationsImplement processes and logic to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from a wide variety of sourcesPerform code reviews and provide suggestions for fixes and improvementsTriage and fix integration related defectsUnderstand and be able to use SQL to pull data and calculate metrics to answer research questions by end usersAuthorize access and validate of security: This involves identifying, authenticating, and authorizing information users; validating security for access to the data; authorizing modifications to reference data; and providing access to the metadata or data standards for the purposes of browsing.Overall technical support for end users with self-service reporting capability (answering questions, hosting workshops, addressing technical difficulties)Requirements:Minimum Skills & Requirements:7 years of experinceBachelors degreeWell versed in system integration design and developmentStrong back-end development skills (Expert in Java, Python, or equivalent)Track record of delivering technical integration designs to support projectsExperience with AWSExperience on RedShift (3-4 years)Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.Experience with Database technology, including index strategies, performance tuning and optimization and stored procedures.Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.Preferred Skills:Mortgage analytics experience preferredExperience in the following sector(s): housing and mortgage finance, Federal credit programs, and government benefit programsBenefits:SES provides a competitive salary and the following benefits:MedicalDentalVisionAD&DSTDLTDCompany paid Life Insurance401k with employer contributionPaid Time Off
