Position: FPGA Developer Location: Columbia, MD Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000 + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation RG17902 Job Description: This Client is a startup 3D imaging technology company with a focus in scene reconstruction. They have very exciting technology with tons of applications. The engineers will be working with all the latest technologies in a small company where you will be able to enrich your skill set. Equity will be part of the compensation. This Client seeks a skilled computer scientist/engineer to join their growing company. You will be able to design, implement and test their spatial processing algorithms in hardware acceleration environments (eg,FPGAs) in C++. You will be a quick thinker with great coding/debugging skills, excellent time management skills and strong collaborative skills. Keywords: 3D scene data structures, spatial processing, hardware acceleration, FPGAs. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline is required. 5+ years of FPGA development experience to include most of the following: FPGA configuration and interface definition. FPGA programming using VHDL, Verilog, OpenCL, C/C++ and/or Xilinx tools. Demonstrated ability to debug FPGA designs in real-world systems. Use of integrated logic analysis tools. Development work in a complex codebase as part of a team. Deep understanding of massively parallel hardware acceleration algorithms and data structures. Deep understanding of processor architectures. Brilliant thinker who can contribute both "inside and outside the box". Preferences: Experience successfully working in cross-functional teams. History of successful delivery of products. US citizen or permanent resident with or capable of obtaining DOD security clearance. Record of success in 3D technology companies, including startups. Familiarity with MATLAB or Python (NumPy/SciPy) scientific computing environment.Type: PermanentCategory: IT
