Job Description Description Decypher is seeking Software Engineer candidates to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) at West Bethesda, MD. This position will be responsible for enabling a more efficient and effective operations and enterprise business solution that supports both today's and tomorrow's IT needs. Education An bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, in computer engineering, electrical engineering, communications management, computer science, information technology, or communications systems. Certifications In lieu of the bachelor's degree, may have one of the following certifications: Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) EC-Council Certified Secure Programmer (ECSP) Experience 4 years of experience in software design using object-oriented methodologies. Demonstrated experience with the following tasks: Proficient in .NET, C++, Java, and/or Perl Development of Web applications Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax Database design with a proficiency in Oracle 11g Clearance US Citizenship and active SECRET clearance required. This position is part of the CSWF, at the Journeyman Proficiency Level, and is in Category 60, Specialty Area 62 of the DON Cybersecurity Workforce Qualification Matrix of the SECNAV M-5239.2, Cyberspace Information Technology and Cybersecurity Workforce Management and Qualifications Manual (Jun 2016).
