Red Arch Solutions is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to support our client working on Zero Trust strategies for enterprise systems. This position would combine state-of-the-art facilities, innovative programs, and imaginative people charged with finding that spark that leads to unparalleled capability to protect data and systems from cyber attack. Using Zero Trust cybersecurity will prevent successful data breaches by working to ensure the architecture for every device, application, and microservice is responsible for its own security. Validation, authentication, and threat prevention are accounted for in each step a user makes through a system's infrastructure. As enterprise systems become increasingly adopted to the cloud, the Zero Trust strategy will be used to secure data for government customers. Position Description: The Software Engineer performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Designs and develops software applications. Maintains and enhances software systems by fixing complicated errors. Analyzes problems and identifies and develops solutions independently. Familiar with the principles and practices of existing software systems development and has a deep knowledge of IT automation principles and how they can be applied to multi-disciplinary enterprise solutions. Develop Orchestration and Automation Platform content strategy and prototype code and work closely with the engineering team designing and building new features and monitoring software development functions and characteristics. Experience with Splunk Phantom, Red Hat - Ansible, Java, Spark, Python, and YAML. Qualifications: 8 years of experience Automation and Orchestration experience needed Bachelor's degree or related work experience Proven experience as a software architect Knowledge of automation principles and practices Experience with Linux-based operating systems Knowledge, experience, and/or coursework in Zero Trust Security Infrastructure Python experience required As condition for employment, authorization to work in the United States is required. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. This role does not require a US Security clearance. However, qualifying candidates may receive an invitation to go through the clearance process.
