Activities include account management, configuration management, content management, system maintenance, change control, end-user training and assistance, and system documentation. The Technical Specialist will collaborate with Digital Services and Information Security teams to ensure the operations and maintenance of secure enterprise services.Essential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Support the Technical Lead Manager in the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future digital technologies and solutions.Is a well-rounded IT professional with a strong desire to learn and develop new innovations and solutions with emerging technologies.Work with project teams to determine technology architecture. For some projects, serve the technical lead function.Responsible for operations activities across multiple SaaS application platforms like Okta, ServiceNow, Appian, Jira, Box, etc.Performs day-to-day activities required to assist and identify technology solutions that meet enterprise requirements.Helps investigate and troubleshoot escalated application issues that could not be resolved by helpdesk.The candidate will regularly make IT recommendations that can improve and transform existing solutions.Solicits feedback, shares knowledge, and builds relationships amongst business partners.Ensure IT solutions are documented, and knowledge transfer is completed.Ensure appropriate level of documentation and communication occur with end-users to ensure they can fully utilize provided services.Ensure that all required change management authorization is achieved before executing change.Minimum QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the knowledge, skills, andabilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experiencerequired.Education and ExperienceComputer Science BS / BA degree or equivalent required; Advanced degree preferred Technical training relevant to role and certification(s) are required.5+ years of well-rounded professional experience in IT, with significant exposure to a variety of technologies and domains, including 5+ years specific experience in system engineering or administration.1+ years of planning, configuration, optimization, and deploying various Cloud solutions like AWS, Azure, O365, Box, ServiceNow, Duo, Okta, or equivalent experience with other Cloud solutions. Experience managing Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions and APIs like Appian or ServiceNow. Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.Okta certification preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSolution and delivery oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Communication skill: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members. Must be able to convey concepts/ideas and explain things in an easy to comprehend manner.Time Management Skills: Must be able to finish deliverables within the project deadlines.Strong planning and task management skills.Self-managed and motivated individual with strong leadership skills.Able to effectively communicate technical information and provide feedback to technical and non-technical management, co-workers, vendors, agency staff, and customers within an internal forum or managed public forum on complex programs, policies, and procedures across the principal areas of the organization.Understanding of products, policies, and processes used to manage user identities and regulate user access across organizations.Ability to work in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders to identify and discuss issues.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects driven by multiple deadlines.Strong written and oral communication skills.RequirementsMust be eligible to obtain or currently possess a US Government clearance at the Public Trust Moderate (NACI) level or higherMust be a United States Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) with at least three (3) years of consecutive residence in the United States as indicated on the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) LPR issued cardDue to the nature of business in support of state financial services supervision, all employees have the potential of interacting with confidential information related to the supervision of financial services companies ("Confidential Supervisory Information").
