Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Contract Security Officer (CSO) PAE is seeking to hire an Contract Security Officer (CSO) to join our diverse and dynamic security team. This position serves as a member of the CSO team within PAE Security and supports security operations within the National Security Solutions (NSS) business line of PAE. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Supports Senior and other security personnel in managing a fast-paced multi-facility organization. Process visit requests and clearance verifications using government and PAE systems. Assist with processing personnel security actions, particularly passing forms generated from PAE's Personnel Security Center (PSC) to the appropriate government clients. Conduct SCI and other security briefings and ensure all required forms are completed correctly and submitted to the government client. Update internal PAE security records, to include our database of record, Gateway Assist with responding to administrative security inquiries and investigations of incidents or non-compliance. Interpret government and PAE regulations, policies and guidelines and communicate effectively either verbally or in writing to internal and external customers. Seek and implement continuous improvement to security team processes, procedures and products. Participates in self-inspections and government telephonic reviews and on-site inspections. Minimum requirements/qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; a combination of college and work experience or 3-5 years related Industrial Security experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Must have Physical Security experience. Must be able to manage special projects and training initiatives. Must be a team player and able to adapt to changing requirements, priorities. Must be able to work in flexible environments and locations around the WDC Area. Takes ownership of tasks, processes, and projects. Takes initiative within the scope of the position. Exhibits mentoring, team building and coaching ability. Understands, respects, and adheres to chain of command. Experience working with a security system of record in coordination with JPAS, DISS, NISS, NCCS, eQIP, and other government security systems of record. Must be familiar with the NISPOM and able to interpret government policy (NISPOM, ICD, SEAD, etc.). Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated and have a sense of urgency. Preferred Qualifications: FSO Certified or NCMS ISP. Subject matter expert and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies. #APP21 PAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
