This position will be based out of our Capitol Heights, MD location and will be responsible for supporting our staffing functions for all field operations roles. Primary Duties and Accountabilities: This role will provide recruitment support to management by proactively posting positions, sourcing, screening, interviewing qualified candidates for field open positions across the company Partner with hiring managers on how to attract, evaluate and hire the best talent Full cycle recruiting for the company's open positions: advertise, recruit, screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure that only qualified and interested candidates are presented to hiring managers Implement sourcing strategies that build a strong candidate pipeline Manage and schedule a high candidate volume in a timely manner Develop relationships with local colleges and technical schools by attending job fairs and setting up college visits Monitor and identify trends associated with KPI's and Reporting Use a variety of sourcing resources including but not limited to traditional job boards, internet data mining, internal databases, social media, employee referral, networking, cold calling, career fairs, and college recruitment Coordinate the pre-employment assessment process Coordinates internal job posting program Extend offers of employment and compose offer letters Provides information on company, work environment and job description to potential candidates Use applicant tracking software (ATS) to maintain candidate files per company requirements Analyzes results of staffing reports to determine trends, critical issues, and with recommendations for future actions Act as the Equal Employment Officer to ensure the company attracts, employs, and maintains hiring practices for a diverse workforce Initiation and management of all pre-employment background checks Coach hiring managers and guide them throughout the recruiting process Knowledge, skills, and qualifications: Associate's degree preferred 3-5 years' experience in Talent Acquisition experience in high growth and fast-paced environments, with full lifecycle technical recruiting Prior experience as a field recruiter in the electric utility industry and training in recruiting, executive search methodologies, and sourcing with experience managing or leading other recruiters preferred. Previous recruitment of Transmission and Distribution disciplines preferred Skilled at sourcing, assessment, and closing tactics and strategies. Strong client and candidate management skills who is customer focused and quality driven in assignment delivery Works under minimal supervision relying on knowledge, skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to accomplish assigned tasks and goals The successful candidate will have good people development skills, strong recruiting leadership and be a driven self-starter with a strong passion for your work Comfortable traveling and building relationships in the community Ability to visit construction job sites Prior hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Software Must possess excellent time management, interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledge of employment law Experience with Microsoft Office products including, word, outlook excel and power point Excellent communication and verbal skills with exceptional interpersonal skills You will be results-oriented, unafraid to take initiative (self-motivated), organized, innovative, resourceful, and have a high level of integrity and ethics and sense of urgency to deliver quality services Come and see what makes AUI Power Best in Business!
