Forestville Healthcare Center currently has an opening for a Restorative CNA or GNA to join our highly professional and caring staff! Qualified candidates must be licensed CNA's or GNA's in the State of Maryland with experience in Restorative Programming. Restorative Aide Certification a plus. Weekdays 8:30am-4:30 pm Includes rotation every-other-weekend The position of Restorative Aid exists to provide rehabilitative and personal care for residents. The job responsibilities include: Ensure that residents' personal care needs are provided for with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness. Ensure that residents' medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care. Maintain physical environment in a clean, safe, and pleasant manner. Ensure that nutritional needs of residents are met in accordance with established care plan. Perform other related activities as assigned or requested This position requires the physical ablility to: Move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the workday. Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds. Assist in the evacuation of residents. Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED CNA or GNA Certification in the state of Maryland Previous experience in Restorative Programming required. Restorative Aide Certification a plus.
