We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative senior executive leadership to join our team of IT professionals as the Technical Infrastructure Administrator. Under the leadership of the Director of Infrastructure with a dotted line to the Chief Technology Officer this position will be responsible for:
  • Manages the Center of Excellence for ServiceNow, projects, processes and programs.
  • Develops infrastructure’s strategic project plans, and coordination with all areas of the county for delivering all routine and special administrative tasks in support of applicable operations.
  • Ensures integration of these platforms, operability, and sustainability.
  • Develops operational process and procedures compliance.
  • Participates as a member or lead of special IT project teams as assigned by the Infrastructure Director. Serve on the DIT Architectural review board.
  • Coordinating between Information Security Office and archival projects across the county.
  • Reviewing the work of several technology infrastructure groups including Server Platforms both SAP environment, and the rest of the counties enterprise, Data Center, Communications (phone systems), networking footprint scanning on-premise, and cloud locations, database administration, enterprise e-mail and office productivity suite applications, end users devices, enterprise printing, mailroom, data storage and back-up and related systems engineering, systems management utilities and integration activities for enterprise-wide technology applications portfolio supporting over 50 agencies/departments.
  • To provide customer advocacy services to include assistance with tasks pertaining to TSS’s support of agency application system requirements and training in the area of Customer Liaison, Infrastructure Web Pages, Documentation/Processes, and Communications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Employment Standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:

Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, or closely related field; plus seven years of progressively responsible experience in applying information technology to meet the needs of a government or business organization.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.

All newly hired employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two weeks after the last required dose) as a condition of employment or obtain approval of a medical or religious exemption prior to their start date. Proof of an exemption or vaccination status will be required during the pre-employment onboarding process. New employees who obtain an exemption from the vaccine mandate for medical or sincerely held religious beliefs will still be subject to the weekly testing requirement. Vaccinated employees and employees with a medical or religious exemption will complete the attestation online on their first day of employment or shortly thereafter.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
15 years of innovative and efficient project management knowledge and experience in organizing IT projects. Candidate should be knowledgeable in using Microsoft Project, or other Project tools that can cut across different disciplines. Should understand Waterfall or Agile methodologies. PMP certified is a plus. Knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies around Servers, storage, Communications, and networking. Knowledge of SAP software, and solutions around Infrastructure design. Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced collaborative team environment and/or independently. Established organizational and interpersonal skills oriented in providing outstanding customer service to project stakeholders. Proven ability to communicate (written and verbal) and present complex application to a variety of audiences. Possess strong critical thinking skills, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is generally sedentary, performed in a normal office environment. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
