Salary: $65,000 - 75,000/yearDue to company policy, candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19. Job Description:We are actively seeking a full-time, experienced legal practice assistant to join its growing offices. This position will work collaboratively in supporting real estate and secured lending attorneys and their teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Working closely with clients and firm personnel preparing and reviewing documents in connection with real estate transactions, including real estate secured financings, acquisitions and sales and coordinating closing documents, signatures and closing bindersOpening new clients and matters and facilitate the conflicts process for new and existing onesAssisting attorneys with accurate daily entering of attorney time into accounting systemManaging detailed client billing processing final billing statements and letters and working with billing department to resolve billing problemsManaging attorney calendars and reminding them of various meetings, appointments, etc. This includes scheduling and managing annual meetings, travel logistics and coordination for meetings.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records such as name/address list and client/matter numbersFiling correspondence and legal documents according to the firms document and file management systemOverseeing all expense processingRegistering and coordinating travel for conferences, business development efforts, and attorney continuing legal education (CLE) requirementsPerforming other duties required based upon the unique practice of the attorney, such as, but not limited to, administrative work, practice development initiatives, project planning and support, pro bono efforts, and committee projects and responsibilities.Job Requirements:2+ years of legal assistant experience. Administrative professional with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and at least five years of job-related experience in a real estate setting, preferably in a law firmDemonstrated writing and communication skills and documented interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated organizational skills: responsive, efficient, independent and proactive in a very fast-paced environmentDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat and ExcelTeam player, able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization as well as external clientsPowered by JazzHR
