You're constantly evolving, so shouldn't your opportunities be, too?The OpportunitySenior Associates work with more senior team members in identifying, analyzing, closing, and monitoring middle market leveraged loans. Senior Associates typically have 5+ years of middle market leverage lending experience and have strong demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and firm risk policies. Incumbents at this level are continuing to build upon the skills required to close and manage leveraged loan transactions and have a higher level of responsibility for workload under minimal supervision. Senior Associates are meaningful contributors to team successes, and assume increasing levels of responsibility with underwriting, managing accounts and referral source relationships.The Work ItselfPrepare diligence requests/question lists and review/analysis of diligence information.Perform financial analysis Interpretation of historical and projected financial information.Review/ and or provide supervision to associates and analysts in the preparation of financial models, including transaction summaries, pricing models, and cash flow models.Assist team in updating trend cards and analyzing financial statements on portfolio accounts.Assist in ensuring the transaction is in compliance from a regulatory standpoint Debt Repayment OFAC/CIP/AML/Food Insurance/Background Checks Risk Ratings.Responsibility for completing and/or reviewing Initial Deal Review approval templates prepared by analysts and associates.Responsible for completing significant sections of the underwriting document with minimal supervision.Assist in supervising analysts and associates with the preparation of updating portfolio trend cards, collateral analysis as applicable and of portfolio reviews.The senior associate may be responsible for updating portfolio trend cards, provide collateral analysis as needed and assist with the preparation of portfolio reviews on more complex accounts.Assist/supervise analysts and associates with special projects.Work towards understanding and adapting to Ally's credit culture.The Skills You Bring3+ Years of banking and lending experience including auditing, underwriting and financial and credit analysis preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and firm risk policies.Completion of Bank training program is preferred.Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.Highly analytical, detail oriented with problem solving capability.Ability to work independently with demonstrated strong time management skills.High level of accountability and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.Highly motivated, self-starter.Technical: Computer literate, including: Word, Excel, Power Point.Experience with financial forecast models desirable.How We'll Have Your BackAlly's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
