With over 10,000 employees, more than 15 brands and hundreds of cabinet styles, our commitment to quality and caring for our customers and employees never wavers.Position Purpose:The Digital Enterprise Controller will serve as a financial business partner for the Stock Manufacturing and Technical Operations organization. This position will also play a key role in the implementation of Oracle cloud-based ERP for Stock operations (transitioning from JD Edwards). This role will ensure effective and efficient analysis of the Stock business pricing and cost results.Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, related to the ERP implementation:Serve as primary lead in the i.) design and planning meetings for implementation, ii.) coordinate the task management of all actions, decisions, risks, development change requests developed for the ERP implementation, iii.) serve as liaison between Company and external consultants, iv.) lead the development of future reporting requirements, v.) maintain forecast of anticipated project spend, and vi.) ensure month-end adjustments related to implementation costs are properly recordedAssist in Digital Project justifications and Authorizations for Expenditures (AFE) by providing analysis as necessaryDevelop and maintain tracking mechanism for financial performance to approved expenditure authorizations. Also maintain tracking mechanism for internal laborMake Capitalization vs Expense Decisions or engage Corporate Controller for assistance in those decisionsEnsure Company's Financial Policies and Procedures are followedAssist in the Security Access development for end users for each testing cycle and for go-liveAssist in the development of a training curriculum plan including assignment of TrainersServe as Program Manager including scheduling and leading of meetings and coordinating key business decisionsDevelop / present Monthly Financial Performance to LeadershipProvide cash forecast outlays for ProjectsParticipate in the development of testing scenarios including assignment of testersAssist in the preparation of weekly progress status updatesWork with Project Leadership to determine resource requirements and constraintsParticipate in the Business Intelligence / Advanced Analytics module as the Lead Finance resourceIdeal Candidate Profile:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.Experience:15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience requiredMinimum of 10 years in a financial management role within a manufacturing/supply chain organizationExperience in developing and administering financial programs within a manufacturing/supply chain organizationExperience implementing Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems; Oracle preferredExperience with JD Edwards ERPDocumented track record of successful project management and team experienceExperience managing and leading in a remote/distributed workforce environmentSkills:Excellent personal computer skills in a networked environment, Microsoft products preferredEducation:Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or related field required, advanced degree (MBA or Masters in Accounting) preferredCPA certificate a plus.ESSENTIONAL FUNCTIONS:Business Partner:Partner with IT and PMO teams on Oracle implementationServe as business partner to manufacturing leaders on our Stock businessEngage with finance leadership to provide key insights to the organization and drive business strategy through quantifiable metricsLead initiatives to position Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain controllers as key business leaders within their divisionsEnsure policy and procedure are SOX compliant and work with external and internal audit partnersEnsure financial integrity of the operations divisions of the businessLeadership:Participate as a key member of the finance leadership team reporting to the VP of AccountingSet strategy, lead, and execute strategic initiatives and proceduresFinancial Analysis:Provide quantification of financial impact to influence discussions and decision makingPrepare financial reports and statementsAssist with budgeting and fiscal forecastingLead the annual standard cost updateScope & Expectations:Must be able to align with American Woodmark core values, mission and principles with documented results of being a highly ethical business leaderReports to: VP of AccountingTravel Requirements:Some out of town travel is required up to 10%Recruitment process may consist of any combination of phone, video and in person interviews.Offers may be contingent upon successful completion of Background Check, Drug Screen, Physical Examination and/or potential Motor Vehicle Check.Benefits Package Includes:Competitive CompensationHealth Care BenefitsPaid HolidaysPaid Vacation DaysPaid Sick Days401(k) MatchTuition Assistance
