Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldCertified GSA Locksmith - Ali Al Salem KuwaitPOSITION SUMMARYPAE is seeking a Certified GSA Locksmith for a pending contract award at Ali Al Salem, Kuwait.The Locksmith will:Be responsible for receiving verbal, written or email work requests and completing repairs, replacements, maintenance, and installations as required.Consult on existing and new installations.Document work, report progress and notify site leadership as necessary to ensure high quality of service to meet PWS guidelines.Communicate repairs, replacements, maintenance, etc. to staff to successfully complete work orders.Perform skilled tasks involved in the installation, maintenance and repair of new and existing locks and lock systems.Plan and set up lock systems for a variety of new and existing systems.Ensure that inventory and bench stock of spare parts for all systems are being maintained.Address written work orders that may require the interpretation of blueprints and project layouts.Open locked doors and safes in a manner that requires no repair or allows acceptable local repairs.Assist in planning, installing, servicing, and maintaining lock systems.Make emergency repairs to lock systems.Manually operate a key cutting machine.Repair, service, and adjust all types of doors, such as hollow metal and aluminum storefront doors.Service, repair, and installs exit devices, panic hardware, coordinators, and other door related hardware.Determine the correct lock system to be installed at a variety of facilities.Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.Coordinate and monitor customer requests and ensure professional performance.Work with service and support teams and communicate all reporting requirements as stated in PWS and perform other duties as assigned by the Program leadership team.The Locksmith schedule will vary during 24/7 rotations.QUALIFICATIONSMust have at least three years (3) previous experience at a US Air Force Military Installation with similar mission/project in scope and nature.Must have a GSA Locksmithing certification (Keystone or other current/equivalent software preferred).Requires computer skills.Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.Requires previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.Must have a valid driver's license and passport.Must have an Active US Government issued Secret Security Clearance and maintain it for the duration of the contract.Must be able to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.Must be able to obtain country visa (as required in line with the US Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESExperience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalentWORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONSThis position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors.
