The Senior Human Resources Associate will serve as a key member of the HR team and champion of recruitment, performance management, and the Truth Initiative internship program. This high impact position will be a primary point-of-contact for the workforce and subject matter expert in attracting and recruiting talent, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, regulatory compliance reporting, and day-to-day HR administration.US:Truth Initiative is America's largest nonprofit public health organization dedicated to a future where tobacco and nicotine addiction are things of the past. You are agile, creative, and passionate about people.THE DAY-TO-DAY STUFF:Lead all stages of the full-cycle recruitment processPartner with Hiring Managers to collaboratively establish short and long-term vision for hiring needs and overall recruitment initiativesIdentify appropriate channels for recruitment to proactively identify candidatesSource, screen, and interview candidates from applicant tracking systemPartner with HR Coordinate to schedule interviewsPartner with external recruiters on hard-to-fill rolesRepresent and recruit at college career fairsAssist in onboarding of new hires and offboarding of departing staffPerform reference checks on final candidatesMaintain and update job descriptions for all positionsSpearhead performance management process and maintain performance management platformManage three (3) annual performance review processes from start to finishFacilitate performance management trainings for new and existing staffAssist with technical questions in on-going performance review processesManage Truth Initiative internship programRecruit new interns (Spring, Fall, Summer)Plan and coordinate intern activities and programsMonitor and track intern performanceQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in human resources or business with at least 4 progressive years of recruitment and/or human resources experience in a fast-paced environmentMust have the ability to work independently and efficiently to manage projects through their entire life cycle, in collaboration with internal and external partnersAble to manage workflow, with minimal oversight with multiple and sometimes changing prioritiesProven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make the best use of available resourcesProven efficiency in use of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Exceptional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of employment lawsCOMPENSATION PACKAGE:Salary is commensurate with experience with EXCELLENT benefits.Interested applicants should submit their resume and cover letter here OR send materials to:Human ResourcesAttn: Senior Human Resources Associate900 G Street, NWWashington, DC 20001Fax: (202) 454-5597No telephone calls please.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, veteran status, or disability.XpddzbAIBW
