JOB SUMMARYThe Sr Director, Digital Merchandising Optimizatoin leads the Global Digital Merchandising team, reporting to the VP Personalization & Product Performance. The Global Digital Merchandising team is responsible for the dynamic content orchestration and optimization of merchandising placements across Marriott's website, native apps, and on property touchpoints. The Merchandising program supports all Marriott products: Marriott Bonvoy, 7000+ hotels across 31 global brands, Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Bonvoy cobranded credit cards, Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques, and our strategic partnerships.The Sr Director, Digital Merchandising Optimization will will provide leadership in the optimization and orchestration of digital merchandising, creative testing and rigorous reporting and analysis. The role is responsible for driving the strategic vision of dynamic content optimization within Marriott's marketing technology stack and will work closely with the MarTech platform teams, who are responsible for building and supporting the capabilities used by the Digital Merchandising program. The MarTech toolset includes Adobe Experience Cloud (Target, Audience Manager, Experience Manager, Analytics, Campaign), Salesforce (Lightning, Interaction Studio), and Marriott proprietary data sources.The Sr Director will need to have a collaborative mindset and serve as an advocate for the team and strong team player. Demonstrate forward thinking and plan for growth in engagement and revenue for digital products and loyalty membership through effective merchandising. In strong partnership with the Cobrand, Global Brands and Marketing, Experiments, and other Digital Product teams, this individual will work to further the development of strategies, guide and inform team members and managers in order to drive increases in revenue and engagements through customer-centric digital experiences that are balanced with business needs.
