About the RoleThis position is part of a team responsible for the accurate consolidation and reporting of the Company's financial statements (including the documents filed with the SEC), which includes key responsibilities in the areas of financial reporting, share-based compensation, lease and equity accounting and technical accounting research. This position provides exposure to our financial processes and external financial reporting as well as working with our operating segments and other corporate departments (including HR, Legal, FP&A, Tax and Investor Relations) within the organization.What You'll DoAssist in the external financial reporting process, including:o Preparing key disclosures for our quarterly and annual financial statements and 1934 Act forms (10-Q and 10-K) for filing with the SEC;o Developing quarterly financial reporting calendars; ando Maintaining supporting documentation to substantiate information included in each SEC filingPrepare financial support for earnings and investor presentationsAssist in the preparation of materials for the Audit CommitteePrepare monthly financial statements for internal reporting purposesPrepare monthly equity roll-forward and filings for changes in beneficial ownership (Form 4)Prepare weighted shares outstanding and earnings per share calculations and forecastsPrepare analysis and roll-forwards for leasesAssist in the preparation of technical accounting white papersPrepare reports required for 401K compliance and certain statutory entitiesPrepare and deliver quarterly and annual government surveysParticipate in special projects as neededHow You'll GrowThe Staff Accountant, External Reporting will have the exposure to financial processes and external financial reporting, as well as have the opportunity to work closely with other segments and corporate departments (including HR, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations). The Staff Accountant will also have exposure to recurring quarterly activities, such as 10-Q's, 10-Ks, and other SEC Reporting as well as planning for upcoming quarters.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation and BackgroundBachelor's degree in accountingCPA or CPA candidateOne to two years of accounting experience.
