KBR is seeking a Senior FP&A analyst to join our Defense Systems & Engineering Group. The Senior FP&A analyst will be responsible for varied high level FP&A activities such as: SEG monthly variance analysis and review of BU consolidated results, cash flow analysis and forecasting, streamlining current FP&A processes, assist PP&C with implementation of corporate EPM tool, PP&C shared resource for COBRA expertise. Potential for remote work exists.Primary responsibilities will include:1. Prepare and review financial analysis, reports & presentations for senior leadership, includinghigh level variance analysis for programscash flow and balance sheet analysis and forecastingprepare Monthly Flash and DashboardPrepare commentaries for FMR, QBR and Annual Budget Presentations2. . Assist in the creation and presentation of financial analysis and modeling to support:Management reporting and analyticsProcesses and systems supporting Corporate FP&A3. Assist with implementation of automated tools across FP&A and PP&CSME expertise in COBRA implementation, including building projects from the ground upBecome the SME for corporate planning tools including data validation and report creation4. Coordinate with various finance teams, business finance leaders and Operations, as well as other functional groups outside of finance to ensure accuracy of financials and financial deliverables.5. Help to maintain a strong, cost effective controls environment ensuring compliance with the FAR, SEC, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley accounting and reporting regulations, and company accounting policies and procedures.Required SkillsDemonstrated career progression in finance/accounting and ability to work in a matrixed environmentCOBRA experienceExperience with planning and budgeting and forecasting,Experience of driving financial processes and improvementsStrong communication, interpersonal and influencing skillsMindset of continuous improvementStrong Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of US GAAPExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRequired ExperienceBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.10 years progressive financial experience, preferably in Government contracting.Preferred QualificationsCostPoint and related systems (COGNOS, Deltek)Hyperion/ HFM/ EPM tool#LI-ML2
