There's no boredom with this job, as your varied duties as the key support to our service manager includes keeping your community operating smoothly and according to safety standards while ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of all service requests and repairs. Your business savvy will kick in as you assist with supply purchases and bids under management supervision. Your role is essential for maintaining our high level of customer service as well as the cleanliness and marketability of the community to renew and secure new leases.Job Responsibilities:Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely mannerMaintain an organized, clean and safe work areaAssist service manager with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies at appropriate levelsComply with all personnel management policies and proceduresHelp service manager oversee completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policyHelp service manager ensure staff is motivated and functions as an effective teamMaintain superior customer service relationship as per Gables Pledges of Customer ServiceCommunicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors and supervisorsWork with service manager to maintain effective preventative maintenance programWork with service manager to adhere to budget guidelinesAssist service manager to maintain hazard communications programInspect grounds, buildings, and other community features as required to minimize liability concernsEnsure adherence to the company's safety and hazard communications programs, policies and proceduresWork with service manager to ensure physical condition of community is maintained according to company operating and safety standardsWork with service team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all timesAssist with turnkey operations if neededAdhere to Gables Standard Operating ProceduresAttend and participate in technical training programs to maintain personal skill levelOther tasks or duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications:Each job duty must be performed with the focus and accuracy it requires. Renovation experience may be required for older properties built 5 or more years ago.Attendance/TravelAbility to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year.
