Our multidisciplinary team combines excellence in research with the development of innovative products for the treatment of serious diseases.ParalegalGaithersburg, MDYour Tasks:As a member of the Miltenyi Biotec team, you will assist the General Counsel with administrative duties related to the company's legal activities. Additionally, you will assist with drafting, reviewing, negotiating and execution of a high volume and wide range of legal contracts including NDAs, MSAs and Statement of Work Orders, clinical trial agreements and other vendor and general business-related contracts, on an as needed basis. As a result of your ability to assist with coordinating with other Miltenyi Biotec departments in US and EU subsidiaries to locate, gather and organize on-site and off-site storage of documents necessary for responding to various Miltenyi Biotec stakeholder requests, you will support the continued success of Miltenyi Biotec as a whole.Additional Responsibilities:Assist with managing complex files, including electronic and hard copy files and developing and maintaining related Excel Spreadsheet charts and summaries thereto.Assist with legal review of sufficiency and accuracy of law firm Invoices for payment and track IP Department budgetary spend thereto.Assist with coordinating approvals, signatures, notarization, and legalization of documents. Organization of documents for high level legal presentations to various stakeholders.Perform legal research and assist with support for requests for information and documents for internal and/or external auditors. Assist in various projects and activities on an as needed basis as required.Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad range of biotech legal and/or compliance-related matters. Additional duties to be assigned on an as needed basis commensurate with successful candidate's demonstration of adequate experience and aptitude.Assist with the production and dissemination of materials for various stakeholder meetings, as needed, including drafting of minutes, consents and resolutions, as applicable.Requirements:ABA approved Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of 5 years years of paralegal experience with biotech/biopharma company preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.Strong writing skills required to independently review, draft, and prepare corporate documents and agreements on an as needed basis, and as required.
