You will need to be familiar with excavation, directional drilling, and other underground utility work operations to be successful as an Underground Foreman.If you want to be a part of a dedicated, passionate team and to have a career with a variety of growth opportunities, apply today to AUI Power!Essential Functions:Provide direct supervision & technical guidance to Linemen, Apprentices and Groundmen performing maintenance & construction on all equipment projectsResponsible for coordinating essential personnel on-site for the projectCommunicate, demonstrate and enforce safety requirements and best practicesManage supplies, materials and equipmentRead and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and scopes of workCommunicate directly with General Foremen, Project Managers, Line Crews and other project personnel as requiredExperience with digger derricks, bucket trucks, trenchers, and groundwork with utility crews is requiredMust be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate & encourage teamwork skills and able to understand, comprehend, and follow directions in the workplaceMust have a quality work ethic and be committed to optimal Customer ServiceBe willing/able to work additional hours, when requiredBe willing/able to travel long distances on short notice, when requiredMinimum Requirements:Must have knowledge of heavy equipment.
