We scale to meet agency needs for continuous monitoring, cyber security, network operations, compliance, data center operations, and IT consolidationResponsibilities:Your Role:Cultivate the pipeline by calling on inbound public sector marketing leads from webinars, tradeshows, whitepapers, and other marketing activities as required.Conduct targeted outbound cross-sell campaigns to drive additional pipeline for the public sector team.Drive registrations for federal events such as Tech Days, networking receptions, and webinars through proactive outreachAppropriately qualify all assigned inbound public sector leads and establish an action plan for next stepsDevelop and accomplish a lead qualification/generation plan that meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly lead pass quota targetsResearch and prospect to make outbound cold callsResponsible for assisting with answering and evaluating prospective customer calls from SolarWinds government inbound phone lines"Focus on customer"A' by understanding their industry, business and challengesUnderstand and articulate the breadth of SolarWinds' product portfolioParticipate in entry level sales program training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classesCapture accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)Cooperate with marketing and sales management to determine strategic approaches for salesQualifications:Your Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience1 or more years business experience, prefer results-oriented or inside sales environment rolePassion for selling (IT industry background preferred)Enthusiastic and self-starting approachDemonstrable record of lead pass or sales success against a quotaKnowledge and experience of networking technologies and overall Solarwinds business environment preferred, but not requiredAbility to communicate effectively (verbal and written)Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to use Microsoft Office/Exchange, and SalesForceThe ability to work closely with federal and SLED marketing, and the SLED sales team in Herndon and remotely with the SLED sales team members in Austin
