In this role, you'll ensure that the MTS robot is fully fuctioning while aiding in daily operations.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.Key Responsibilities:Assisting the pharmacist with labeling/filling prescriptionsAbility to meet physical demands involving extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and reaching.Ability to perform tasks under pressure, and within a deadline driven environmentAccurately preparing medications to be filled in cassettes under the pharmacist's supervisionVisually inspecting bingo cards filled by the MTS robot and preparing for deliveryOrganizing the pharmacy shelves (Drugs, supplies, etc.)Removing out of date items from inventory/shelvesCleaning the MTS robot machine daily before and after operationOperating the MTS robot machine, troubleshooting any machine related issueQualifications:High school diploma or GED is requiredExperience cleaning and operating the MTS robot machine is preferred.One year or more of Long-Term Care or Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment.Able to stand on feet for 8 hours.Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor.Pharmacy Technician educational course work desiredExperience working with pharmacistSkills and Abilities:Strong problem-solving skillsEffective communicatorQuick and independent learnerEEO Statement:PharmScript is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
