Under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, manage production within a host company or community job site while training, employing, and supervising adults with disabilities and managing ECHO?s contract with the host company. This is to include, but is not limited to ensuring that program participants are actively engaged in employment activities, implementing person-centered plans, behavioral support, and to ensure that all services are provided in adherence to department policies and procedures consistently. Provides coverage for ECHO drivers, as needed.??Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions1. Provide supervision and care for participants including, but not limited to:o Transport program participants to and from work sites, using ECHO vehicleso Manage program participant hours for greatest productivity and coverageo Assure program participant integration into the host company's work forceo Plan for integrated "down time" activities, such as off-site community outreach activities, ensuring that program participant preferences and choices are encouraged and respectedo In the event of a production emergency, complete production without program participant assistance within time lines mandatedo Assist with time studies to assure correct remuneration of workerso Ensure health and safety as dictated by their person-centered plans, individualized protocols (fall risk, seizure, behavior, other), and/or per the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Program Services, Program Coordinator or other ECHO managemento Crisis intervention as neededo Assist with hygiene (using the restroom, changing incontinence products, menses care, etc.)o Request and maintain inventory of equipment or supplies for participants and/or program2. Understand and implement person-centered individual service plans?o Ensure participants are working on their personal outcomeso Be aware of all issues relevant to each participant?s health and safetyo Relay information about significant program participant activity/issues/concerns to the Program Coordinator and/or Director of Program Services, as appropriateo Gather and submit data in accordance with regulatory and agency standards3. Maintain up-to-date documentationo Write daily progress notes within 24 hours of service provision that meet agency and regulatory standards for quality and thoroughness and address participant outcomeso Record participant time (Vertex) within 24 hours4. Community?o Identify, recommend and implement meaningful community based activities that incorporate program participant preferences and choices, support the community and maximize the independence and esteem of individuals served while enhancing the understanding and awareness of others in the community to better include the people we serviceo Identify, recommend and implement an activity that supports cultural diversity on a quarterly basis to improve understanding of similarities and differences of different people and communities around the worldo In cooperation with the Program Coordinator, ensure program participant integration into the community by providing community access skills training through regular outings and inviting members of the community to lecture or give presentations; document activities including individual responses to the activity, barriers encountered, and training provided5. Attendance and Punctualityo Follow agency procedures regarding time recording, leave, and punctualityo Maintain availability to cover for bus drivers or bus aide duty outside of regular schedule (between 6:30am and 6:30pm)6. Teamworko Work cooperatively and professionally with all team memberso Display a positive attitude with participants and colleagues throughout ECHO7. Trainingo Participate in in-service training to satisfy agency needs/requirementso Complete all assigned online training assignments within timeframe8. Professional writing and communication skills relevant to the fieldSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates primarily in a living space environment?kitchen and living room area. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The role also requires local travel via company vehicle (bus or van).Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to talk, hear, type, push a wheel chair with rider, lift up to 50 pounds, and support persons with challenging behaviors, which can be physical.Position TypeThis is a full-time position. Hours of work required are 8 per day, or more as needed?Monday through Friday.?TravelRegular travel will include going to and from ECHO to the worksite in a company bus or van. This position may also provide coverage for full-time drivers, and therefore may require driving a full route in the morning and/or afternoon. Getting fingerprints done and taking a drug and alcohol test off-site at hire is required. Additionally, random drug tests could potentially require a repeat off-site drug test one or more times throughout length of employment.Required Qualifications? Considerable experience in vocational and/or day support training of persons with disabilities?
