Join our Corporate Team at Amatus Health as an Accounts Payable Manager! On-site position in Owings Mills, MD.Position ResponsibilitiesManage all activities in the accounts payable function including processing invoices, travel expenses and corporate credit card charges. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of entry and disbursements, including subsidiary ledgers.Assist with month-end close and related accrual processes.Ensure compliance through supplier maintenance, W-9 documentation, year-end close process, and annual 1099 reporting.Assist with establishing internal controls for all A/P processes.Establish and manage performance metrics for the department.Manage customer vendor relationships, including negotiations of terms and escalation of issues regarding payments, vendors, and operational partners.Maintain regular communication with operational teams at treatment facilities, and accounting teams to ensure appropriate approvals and processing.Develop improvements and standardization of existing systems and implements processing efficiencies.General understanding of GAAP accounting concepts including capital expenditures.Develop, implement and maintain procedures and policies surrounding the accounts payable function.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance major preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience5+ years experience in accounts payable, with 1+ year of supervisory and process management experience.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Experience with Intacct General Ledger experienceStrong communication skills required to assist internal and external relationships, including vendors, operational partners, and the accounting department.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to plan ahead and prioritize.May perform other duties as assigned.
