This position is remote with responsibility for: New York / North Jersey**Position Overviewdormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Sales team in Farmingdale, NY. This position will be responsible for developing new and maintaining relationships with customers. This individual will cultivate leads, manage accounts, business to business development territory management and other related responsibilities that will champion success with dormakaba sales.Important: Our sales and service team members are required to make in-person customer visits due to the nature of their work. For our protection and the protection of our customers, we adhere to strict COVID safety protocols (masking, frequent hand sanitizer use, temperature checks, etc. per local guidelines and customer requirements).Primary Duties Finds and develops new project sales opportunities through data mining, incoming emails, and customer calls to end users, glaziers, general contractors, and architects Responds to initial customer inquiries Consultatively determines and recommends the proper products for customers' applications and requirements within the role of a strategic product specialist and trusted advisor Projects Cost/Price Estimating to meet project bidding deadlines Creates pricing strategies based on competitive market dynamics Determines all prospective customers within any project bid scenario and ensure that quotations are submitted to all those bidding entities Coordinates activities with Inside Sales Representative to ensure proper follow up on quoting activities and to attain competitive pricing intel Works with Inside Sales Representative to Identify strategic opportunities and establish sales tactics to penetrate and develop specific clients in assigned regions and markets Continuously reviews competitive market landscape and work with Inside Sales Reps to recommend, develop, and implement new and creative tactics to maximize sales opportunities and revenue Works with entire team to maximize customer satisfaction and enable repeat business Complete and timely recording within Salesforce.com of all opportunities, status and activity updates, contacts and accounts, sales forecasts, and all other required usage of Salesforce.com (SFDC) Represents and exemplifies dormakaba's core values and business principles Critical Success FactorsCustomer-centric mindset and attitude; action oriented with a sense of urgency to accomplish job duties and objectives Expert knowledge and awareness of competitors within the regions and their product lines High standard of excellence and a strong focus on executionAccountable for actions and results - self-starter with an ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and work autonomously on project and customer requirementsOrganization and time management - plans and prioritizes work; manages time pressures; deals with pressure through good planningProblem solving aptitude - ability to consultatively determine solutions for customers and execute within the dormakaba organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsChange agent to drive growth and successAdaptability - flexible in a rapidly changing environmentRelationship management - ability to develop positive relationships with and between co-workers and/or employees or other departmentsStrong teamwork and partnership orientation Impeccable personal integrity and strong work ethicRequirements Travel required as needed (50%) based on client portfolio requirements and other sales, internal team meetings, training, and planning sessions Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sales and Marketing preferredPreferred 2 years of inside or outside sales or account management experiencePreferred experience in the architectural building materials or construction industryDemonstrated ability to work within business-to-business salesExpert knowledge in all ENS product linesSkills or experience with Microsoft Office productsSkills or experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com PUT YOUR TRUST IN US We Offer A global company with a family culture and strong core values Competitive compensation package with benefits coverage options Career fulfillment with growth and development opportunities Employee discounts (online discounts for shopping, travel, insurance etc.) The Federal Executive Order 14042 On COVID-19 Requires All Current And New Employees Of Government Contractors To Comply With One Of The Following On Or Before The Federal Deadline Date Received their final vaccination dose - either their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or single dose of Johnson & Johnson OR Submitted a medical exemption/accommodation request for approval OR Submitted a religious belief exemption/accommodation request for approval. dormakaba is a federal contractor which means all our team members must comply with this order by the Federal deadline to start and continue employment with us.
