With your belief in automation, your primary focus will be to configure and fine tune releases, routines, monitors, and alerting mechanisms. Being collaborative, you will need to work alongside our platform engineering teams to develop, test, deliver, and maintain systems as part of our growing SaaS platform. Your communication skills will enable you to express concerns, opinions, and be able to navigate through different levels of stakeholders. You will be joining a DevOps culture that strives to find ways to do things better, faster, and cheaper.Our development software is primarily a Microsoft stack: Windows servers, MSSQL, .NET applications, and AWS services. We leverage many aspects of AWS including use of SQS, Lambda functions, API Gateway, ElasticCache, ECS, CloudFormation, CodePipeline and so on. We run on Slack, GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Site24x7, Stackify, ClickUp, GSuite and a plethora of additional tools.ResponsibilitiesBuild on our systems to help teams quickly pinpoint, isolate and resolve issues related to infrastructure, platform services and applicationsContinually maintain and improve software build methodology, procedures, and environmentDesign, develop, and maintain product packaging, installation, upgrades, management and administration scripts and utilitiesManage and maintain configuration management infrastructure and source code, rpm and docker image repositoriesDeploy and run integrated validation and security tests and code analysis tools as part of the DevOps tool chainDeploy, manage, upgrade systems, services and containers using automated configuration management and service orchestration toolsMonitor and alert based on system metrics, analysis of log files and custom alert rulesEnsure uptime SLA for the SaaS infrastructure, services and applications as part of the global DevOps teamProduce weekly, monthly and quarterly uptime and status reports for production and critical internal infrastructureJob RequirementsBS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience4+ Years of proven Cloud Engineering, Operations and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining global multi-tiered infrastructure and web applicationsExperience with installation, configuration and management of log collection and aggregation toolsCreating dashboards and configuring alerts with tools like Pagerduty, JIRA, SlackExperience with deployment of platform services into AWS cloud servicesGood Windows system administrator skills and TCP/IP network fundamentalsExperience with CI/CD tools like git, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodePipelineWorking knowledge of HTTP, WAFs, SSL certificatesExperience using system and application monitoring using tools like Site24x7, New Relic, StackifyExperience with Docker, Microservices and container deployment and service orchestrationFMG Suite is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunities regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, and genetic information.
