Donor Revenue & Reporting (DRR) Accountant - 100% Remote About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a nonprofit global health organization headquartered in Washington, DC. Looking to hire a Donor Revenue & Reporting (DRR) Accountant starting immediately. This position starts in contract with a pay rate of $35 - $40 an hour and for the right candidate will become a permanent role. This is a 100% remote role but for local candidates, might become a hybrid role. If the candidate is not local they can continue working remotely (office is located in Washington DC). Overview of the Donor Revenue & Reporting (DRR) Accountant role: Tasks will include managing a portfolio of financial reports for projects to ensure proper reporting in compliance with donor agreements and related regulations, and timely submission. Prepare journal entries, with consideration for US GAAP, the organization's donor reporting requirements, and potential financial exchange risk. Complete financial project closeouts in Lawson. Provide assistance with internal or external audit requirements as required. Preferred Qualifications for the Donor Revenue & Reporting (DRR) Accountant: Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related experience. At least 2 years of accounting experience in financial reporting, non-profit or public accounting. International Nonprofit experience is a PLUS Strong Excel Lawson experience is a PLUS Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, expert Excel user, including pivot tables and advanced functions, familiarity with data query tools helpful The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check. #CFS2021
