Pharmacy Technician Program Instructor and CoordinatorThe Pharmacy Technician Training Program Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the program including:| Adhering to all Maryland Board of Pharmacy requirements related to a board approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program| Adhering to all MHEC requirements as approved| Creating and updating syllabus as required| Developing relationships with potential and actual internship sites| Placing students in the required 160-hour Maryland Board of Pharmacy internships.| Supervising pharmacy technician instructional staff and participating in student instruction as follows:o Instructing students in the clinical/laboratory/classroom setting.o Based upon approved syllabus, design & teach assigned class or lab leveraging digital content and multimedia sources, including Quizizz and Quizlet Apps. Adhere to course syllabus following established institutional guidelines.o Monitor and complete required reports on student progress; provide support to students as necessary.o Assist in maintenance of the Pharmacy Technician classroom and lab, and coordinate outside professionals to assist in lab.o Assist students in preparing for state certification and national certification exams.o Evaluate students' progress and provide appropriate feedback on daily basis to inform student of progress and completion of course/program requirements.o Provide virtual and hands-on instruction and practical training to create an engaging learning environment both remotely and in person.o Provide instruction to adult learners with varying educational levels, abilities, and backgrounds and is able to appropriately adapt and deliver material to multiple experience levels.o Make recommendations for program improvements as appropriate and required. Interfaces regularly with program team and other instructors and attends scheduled meetings.o Maintain confidentiality of student records and other sensitive subject matter.o Perform related duties as required.Qualifications || Commitment to the mission, values and policies of Caroline Center and the School Sisters of Notre Dame.| PTCB certification and Maryland license required and working toward an associates; RPh or PharmD preferred.| Teaching experience preferred.| Demonstrated experience working with minority women and/or persons who are materially poor.| Ability to relate to a variety of constituencies: adult students, volunteers, and employers.| Flexible, organized, creative thinker, problem solver, planner.| Enjoys working as part of a team.| Good oral and written communications skills.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Caroline Center takes seriously the health, wellness and safety of all students, staff, volunteers, vendors and visitors.
