RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California. ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the worlds premier systems. Our work with the US Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission. Education: BS in Systems Engineering, Electronics or computer engineering / computer scientist ( > 8 years of professional experience preferred) MS in the above fields or Systems Engineering preferred Job Duties: Applies systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate Range capabilities to produce decision quality test data in support of military weapon systems research, test, and evaluation. Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation; analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate computer data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. Works independently on more complex tasking and consults with senior systems engineers as needed. The work quality of systems engineering products and services is spot checked by senior systems engineers. Oversees the quality of work products and services of junior systems engineers. Supports tasking working with more senior engineers. Duties include: 1) Directly assist the Range Operations Division Head with the technical analysis, documentation and management of a variety of technical projects.. 2) Design and document technical systems, to include hardware configuration, connectivity and data-flow. 3) Build technical packages and/or presentations to request funding, facilitate decision making, document decisions, and/or provide status. 4) Act as a liaison between project leads, technical SMEs and the ATR Engineering Team to ensure programmatic agreements are met.5) Lead technical projects, as required. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of work experience performing the stated function. Active SECRET clearance (minimum) Excellent communication / intrapersonal skills Experience working on technical projects to deliver a tangible product (software counts as tangible) Experience with leading a project preferred Must understand project management basics (cost/schedule/performance) and how they interrelate Must have experience in designing / creating / editing / reading technical drawings Network diagrams, Data flow diagrams, Process diagrams, ICDs, etc. Must be proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel and Visio InDyne is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
