The Human Resource and Talent Acquisition Manager role will support in three key areas: Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Operations.Talent acquisition and recruiting in this role will include:Developing and maintaining of network of talent that aligns with our identified vertical practicesDeveloping and maintaining a network of specialized recruiting partners to support sourcing effortsAssessing candidate alignment with current and planned projects byPerforming in-person and phone interviews with candidatesManaging a comprehensive end to end talent identification, acquisition, and onboarding processPerforming reference and background checksMaking recommendations to hiring managersCoordinating interviews with the hiring managersEnsuring that recruitment efforts align with organizational objectives, strategic growth plans and just in time needsHuman Resource and Employee Satisfaction Management in this role will include:Managing and maintaining an efficient onboarding processManaging benefit communications with employeesManaging and maintain up-to-date employee handbookWorking with employees to ensure an employee vacation and sick leave policies ensure work life balanceConnecting executives with employees, building an employer brand, improving employee engagement, building strategic talent resources plansSupport of delivery and creation of training programsMinimum Qualifications:Extensive knowledge of current human resource Federal, State and local rules, regulations and operations guidelines and best practicesMust be a problem solver and able to do benchmarkingDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using technical and non-technical languageDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships-internal and externallyExperience performing a wide variety of tasks with accuracy and speed under time sensitive deadlines.SkillsFluent in Microsoft Programs- Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to maintain Applicant Tracking SystemSHRM Certification preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLeadership and coaching skillsAttention to detail and analytically drivenEducationBachelor's Degree - Bachelor's Degree in area related to program supported preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experienceWork Experience3-5 years in recruiting and Human Resources and Recruiting experienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Washington, DC 20012: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Human resources: 4 years (Required)We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
