SETEC Electronic Security Technician. Location: Washington DC Metro Area. Position: Full-timeRoles/ Responsibility/ Qualifications:As an Electronic Security Service/Installation Technician you will be responsible for installing, servicing & programming Intrusion Detection Security systems, Access Control systems, and CCTV systems. Professionally represent SETEC in the marketplace and contribute to the business development activities of SETEC, which include:. Working with SETEC leaders and solution experts to deliver innovative solutions to clients.. Perform field services for a combination of new and existing clients. Professionally represent SETEC and promote the sales of intrusion systems, video surveillance, and access control systems. Responding to customer needs in an enthusiastic and timely manner. Work with management and the sales team to ensure the timely completion of each projectThe base candidate requirements are: . Effective communication skills. The ability to function independently while achieving an elevated level of productivity . Personal integrity, initiative, responsibility, and the ability to "get things done" . Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend acceptable business English. . Must be able to effectively use computer, smart phone, calculator, and telephone. Minimum education qualification: High School Diploma or GED, with two or more of years working experience or a Bachelor`s degree in any discipline . Current/Valid Driver's License with the Ability to drive to and respond to service requests throughout the DC-metro area. Ability to travel as necessary to perform out of state response for regional and national accounts. Must be a US citizen. Must be able to pass a background check for state and federal licensing/clearancesThe ideal candidate will have:. Experience in the security industry. The ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and specifications. Familiarity with construction processes, principles and permits. Strong understanding of intrusion, video surveillance, and access control systems.
